This morning, I had the pleasure of presenting a session on storytelling as part of IFC Online. I spoke about human psychology and how humans make giving decisions; how you find powerful stories; and, once you’ve found them, how you record them. Along the way I touched on creating a culture of storytelling in your organization, and shared a few concrete examples of how organizations are telling their stories.
The audience asked lots of excellent questions, and I promised to post a few resources. Here they are:
- Sample Interview Questions March 2016
- Canadian Fundraising and Philanthropy March 31 2011 REPRINT
- Canadian Fundraising and Philanthropy Feb 28 2010 REPRINT
- “Save the Darfur Puppy” from the New York Times
You can find my slide deck on SlideShare.
Do you have great examples of storytelling to share? I’d love to hear from you!
