I’ve always believed in the power of a great team. Growing up in Ottawa, hockey and sports in general was my world, and I figured I’d end up with a career in sports.
Turns out, life had other plans.
I entered the workforce full-time at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2021—not exactly great timing. Thankfully, the chaos of the times provided clarity for my future aspirations.
An internship with a National STEM education non-profit led me towards a desire and ultimately a commitment to working for something bigger than myself.
Though I am not a fundraiser by trade, Marketing is my way to connect with people, share powerful stories, and make a difference. What better place to work than Good Works? My role is unique, I’m fortunate that it allows me to be involved in just about everything we do and work with every team member.
Beyond the office, between October and May of each year, you can find me watching and playing hockey—Go Pens go! The rest of the year, my girlfriend and I are dragging our dog along on a summer adventure to a patio, campsite, park, or trail hike.
